    About Us

Our roots are deeply embedded in the marvelous Liguria di Levante, a territory with a long tradition in the art of eyewear production dating back over sixty years.

In the early '60s, right here, Morwen, an important eyewear factory, operated in Italy and abroad until the late '80s.

It is from this experience that Damiani Occhiali was born, when, in 1991, we began our adventure. Our ambition is to preserve the true 'Italian craftsmanship' while also keeping a careful eye on innovation.

    Handmade in Italy

Hand craftsmanship remains crucial, with over 50 meticulous production steps carried out by expert artisans to create a pair of glasses.

Once the design of a new model is defined, the production times for a finished frame amount to over a week of work.

The process begins with selecting cellulose acetate sheet. The sheet is cut into multiple components (frontal and temples) that undergo various processing stages. Throughout this process, we pay close attention to drying times, bonding, precise surface polishing, and the addition of embellishments.

The entire process reflects the expression of patience and art for excellence. A process very similar to that of creating a high-value jewel. All materials used are Italian and of the highest quality.
