Laser-engraved, pad-printed, and hand-cleaned inscriptions

Temple finishing after polishing

Finishing is the process of joining and refining the temples with the frame, creating a seamless and smooth transition between the various components. This step is performed after the frame has been polished and smoothed, ensuring that the connection is not only functional but also aesthetically flawless. Finishing requires precision and skill, especially when done by hand. This process is a clear sign of high-quality craftsmanship. The care taken during this phase highlights the attention to detail and the overall quality of the product.

Supply chain traceability

The main advantage of Italian acetate is its superior quality compared to other synthetic materials. Italian cellulose acetate is known for its intense color rendering, allowing for eyewear with rich and long-lasting hues. Furthermore, the workability of acetate enables artisans to create sophisticated designs with perfect shapes and finishes.

Solid Block

Solid block acetate is a solid and durable material. Being thick and compact, it tends to be more resistant to damage compared to eyewear produced using injection molding. Working with a solid block allows for the creation of a frame that is more resistant to impact and deformation, ensuring greater longevity over time.

Seasoning

Acetate is a natural material, and as such, it can react to changes in temperature and humidity. During processing, acetate can absorb moisture and change its consistency. Curing allows excess moisture to be removed and stabilizes the molecular structure of the material, reducing the risk of future deformation. This helps maintain the shape and structure of the frame over time.

Natural origin

The acetate used in unique blocks is a natural and sustainable material derived from cellulose, offering higher quality compared to synthetic polymers used in injection molding. This material is also known for its ability to maintain color and shine over time, giving the eyewear a fresh appearance. Moreover, the quality of the acetate allows for better transparency and a more intense color range compared to injected materials.

Polarized lenses UV protection

Polarized lenses with UV protection offer enhanced clarity by reducing glare from reflective surfaces, while also providing protection against harmful ultraviolet rays. Ideal for outdoor activities, they help reduce eye strain and improve visual comfort.

Flex temples

The "flex" or flexible temple features a special hinge that allows the temples to open outward beyond the standard 90°, providing greater flexibility. Glasses equipped with flex temples offer a more stable fit, reducing the risk of slipping or shifting during wear.
